Analogy of Two Fictional Legends

The epic story of Biag ni Lam-ang has become known from around the country as well as the Legend of the Magat River. This two fictional stories have a great impact and contributed to as of what Philippine literature is now.

There were lots of differences between the two stories but, there were also similarities among the two.The two stories both talked about the adventure they have. The adventures that made them a hero of their story which showed their boldness in facing the monsters they've encountered. Showing kindness, bravery, both strong and fearless in helping to protect their community from any threat or harm from outside. It also revolved about falling in love with a gorgeous women and showed how affectionate they were to the person whom they treasured very much. There were some characters in the story that were unbelievable, like in biag ni lam-ang the rooster will crow and the nearby house fall while as the dog barks in an instant the house rose up and also it made the bones slowly moved and back alive. Then, in the legend of the magat river, the wife of magat turned into crocodile.

Moreover, magat could run as fast as the deer as strong as he could down a bull with ease while Lam-ang is extraordinary because as he popped out he spoke and asked that he will be given a name Lam-ang. Magat went out on their village because he loved outdoor life and roomed in the forest surrounding for the struggling settlement, but Lam-ang went out on their village because he looked for his father. In Biag ni Lam-ang there was a divine intervention happened that keeps Lam-ang alive again while in Magat river story there is no divine intervention happen.
Never make a promise to a person when youhave no intentions of keeping it. Expectationhurts in case you don't know that. This is thelesson I learned about the legend of magat
Although they may have different endings but still, they showed what a true heroes are.
